This is the first release of Deskterm. This release includes using Deskterm with a free demo. The demo is limited to 5 minutes per session and internet access is restricted.

Deskterm is the successor of Instant Workstation. Compared to Instant Workstation, Deskterm has the following advantages:

• Workstation Location selection

  • Lower latency

  • 18 locations to choose from across 6 continents

• Audio support

• Copy/Paste between own computer and Deskterm workstation

• Browsers & Apps available if full-fledged desktop is not required

• Open Source

The full version of Deskterm is scheduled to be launched on the 22nd of June 2026.
